Reference · keybinds verbatim from the README
The MotionBricks style library, key by key and GIF by GIF
Eleven style keys, one model. Hold a style key, steer with WASD, and the same backbone regenerates your gait live — the "style" channel of the locomotion primitive (see how smart primitives work). You need a working install to try them: start with setup and the demo controls.
All 11 style keybinds
| Key | Style |
|---|---|
| V | Slow walk |
| Z | Hand crawling |
| X | Walk boxing |
| B | Elbow crawling |
| R | Stealth walk |
| T | Injured walk |
| C | Walk stealth (crouched) |
| E | Happy dance walk |
| F | Zombie walk |
| G | Gun walk |
| Q | Scared walk |
Without pressing a style key, the default locomotion is: idle (no movement keys), walk (WASD pressed).
Single styles
The project page groups these as "distinct stylized locomotion — injured, zombie, skipping, strafing — generated zero-shot from a single smart-primitive prompt":
Mixture of styles
"Continuous runtime transitions across speed, direction, and gait — dialed live from user commands" (project page). This is where the no-blending claim becomes visible: transitions are generated, not cross-faded:
Looking for a skating style? Here is the honest answer
MotionBricks has no skating style in the preview release. Neither the README's 11-key style table nor the project page's gallery includes ice skating, and this guide will not map an unrelated key to it just to fill a search term.
The closest released style is skipping — the rope-jump cadence GIF above is the nearest thing to a gliding, bouncy stride in the current set (skipping has no letter key in the demo table itself; the style appears in the official gallery). If a skater-like gait matters to your project, the realistic options are: wait for new styles with the full release, or train on your own data via the custom-dataset docs and the training pipeline.
